20th Century to Open Coffee Shop

On November 1st, 20th Century will establish Kissa Nijusseiki, a coffee shop, on the first basement level of the CORAL Building in the Jingumae district of Tokyo.

Due to the dwindling popularity of this type of coffee shop in Japan, the group decided to open the kissaten-inspired coffee shop. Because Kissaten are family-run companies with aging proprietors and dilapidated structures, they have been declining. As kids, 20th Century adored kissaten and wanted to preserve them for the future. This concept has been under development since the summer of 2021. In fact, they have taken control of a kissaten and revived it.

Specialty coffee, Napolitan, egg sandwiches, and kissaten modeled after soda from the Showa era will all be sold by Kissa Nijusseiki. Additionally, coffee beans and packets will be sold at the store. Additionally, it will include a customized vintage JBL sound system that will play exclusive original music that can only be heard within the store.
