BET Hip-Hop Awards 2023 nominees reveals
Atlanta is the location for this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. The program will be recorded on October 3 and broadcast on October 10. In addition, there will be a lot of tributes paid in recognition of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary.
The two artists with the most nominations for this year’s Hip-Hop Awards are Cardi B and 21 Savage. This results from 12 nominations for each candidate.
This year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards will mark the culmination of our yearlong celebration of hip-hop’s storied creation and the art form’s sonic and cultural expansion,” said Connie Orlando, BET’s EVP of specials, music programming, and music strategy. “We are honored by this year’s roster of nominees as they continue to carry the creativity and diversity of hip-hop into the future. We congratulate each nominee on their accomplishments as they take hip-hop artistry to new heights.”

For the Hip-Hop Artist Of The Year category, 21 Savage, Burna Boy, Cardi B, GloRilla, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Lil Uzi Vert are nominated. Furthermore, the Hip-Hop Album Of The Year category also features GloRilla’s “Anyways, Life’s Great,” Coi Leray’s “COI,” DJ Khaled’s “God Did,” Drake and 21 Savage’s “Her Loss,” Jack Harlow’s “Jackman,” Lil Uzi Vert’s “Pink Tape,” and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Trumazine.”
