Hikaru Utada’s single “Gold -Mata Au Hi Made-” has won over listeners all over the world since its debut and occupied the top spot in rankings for both Japanese and foreign digital music platforms.

In the middle of a frenzy of anticipation sparked by their media appearances in Japan and the publication of the much awaited music video, fans can look forward to another treat: a remixed version of the single set to arrive on August 25.

Producer of the new remix, “Gold -Mata Au Hi Made- (Taku’s Twice Upon a Time Remix),” DJ Taku Takahashi previously worked with Utada on “DISTANCE (m-flo Remix)” and played unique remixes of Utada’s songs at a special DJ event last year.

This remix of the original song is very danceable and offers a new perspective.

Taku Takahashi expressed his joy at being given the chance to work on the remix once more. “I had a strong emotional connection to the original song, which inspired me to give it a fresh spin so the remix would sound entirely different from the original.

We added new vocal aspects despite calling it a remix, and we enjoyed working together as if it were a session, honestly discussing our ideas, and meticulously finishing it.

Hikaru Utada will make a special appearance on “TCY Radio” on block.fm, hosted by Taku Takahashi, starting at 9 pm Japan Time on the day the remix is released.

A live streaming event with “Hikaru Utada Only mix DJ” by Taku Takahashi will be held that day starting at 10 pm Japan Time to celebrate the release of the remix track. Don’t miss this amazing event, which will be live on Instagram from @hikki_staff at https://www.instagram.com/hikki_staff.

A group of 20 listeners to “TCY Radio” in 10 pairs will have access to a special opportunity. They will have the opportunity to receive invitations to the Tokyo public transmission of “TCY Radio” and the official release celebration.

Plot:

War orphan Shin embarks on a journey with the young king, Eisei, to unify China. Suddenly, a large enemy force led by Zhao starts to invade Qin. Eisei assigns the great general Ohki to lead the battle as commander-in-chief to solve this national crisis.

Shin is named Hishintai for his squad and a reckless special mission from Ohki. While Ohki’s return to the battlefield leaves a mystery, the story reveals Eisei’s formerly unknown past. Shin’s destiny moves toward the dream he shared with his lost friend – to become a great general.
