Lil Wayne performs at Kamala Harris' hip-hop 50 event

At her home in Washington, D.C., Vice President Kamala Harris hosted a celebration of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary on Saturday. Numerous celebrities, including Common, D-Nice, Doug E. Fresh, Fat Joe, Jeezy, Lil Wayne, MC Lyte, Remy Ma, Slick Rick, Too Short, and many others, attended as a result.

Meanwhile, at Vice President Harris’ gathering, there were also entertainment. This also applies to Lil Wayne, who is currently trending online after singing his timeless 2008 hit song, “Ms. Officer.” Bobby Valentino was also a part of that song when it first came on his “Tha Carter 3” album. Additionally, Q-Tip’s iconic “Vivrant Thing” single performance followed this one.

Furthermore, Wayne is also currently working on his “Tha Carter 6” album. However, an official release date has yet to be publicly revealed. Wayne initially revealed plans for this project last August, when he performed at Drake’s OVO Fest concert, in Toronto. Wayne’s last project came back in late 2021, which was “Trust Fund Babies,” with Rich The Kid.
