The band reformed in 2008 with three shows at the Tokyo Dome. X JAPAN made their first appearance at Lollapalooza in Chicago in 2010. Following the festival, X JAPAN performed the largest concert in its history, selling out two consecutive shows at Japan’s Nissan Stadium, which held 140,000 people. The band then embarked on their first North American tour, which sold out across the United States and Canada.
